Technical Communications Specialist

Job Description:

  • Provide expert technical support for radio communication equipment in various frequency spectrums.
  • Deliver comprehensive training to customers on operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures.
  • Analyze and assess the technical application of company products and competing equipment to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with customers to design customized systems that satisfy their requirements.
  • Install, configure, operate, maintain, repair or modify customer equipment or software as needed.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
  • Significant military communications experience is essential.
  • Field engineering experience with tactical radio equipment including training, operation, fault finding and basic maintenance of military communications equipment is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience are necessary.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience is acceptable.
