Senior Radio Frequency Systems Designer

We seek a skilled Radio Frequency Engineer to design, develop and implement RF communication systems for unmanned aircraft. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing radio frequency (RF) communication systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in RF engineering, with experience in design and development of RF communication systems. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Development: Design RF communication system components, including radios, antennas and cable assemblies; develop link analysis/link budgets for digital datalinks.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct RF testing and measurements to validate system performance against specifications; support the analysis of test data and troubleshoot RF systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software and systems engineers, to integrate RF components into larger systems.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of RF engineering experience, preferably in communications systems.
- Experience with RF simulation and design tools; solid understanding of RF principles, modulation techniques and wireless communication.
- Proficiency in using RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
