Job Overview

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategic direction of a large portfolio of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes across Victoria.

  • Maintain expertise in current best practices in financial management, including understanding public sector budget operations and governance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards, particularly regarding revenue claiming and receipts.
  • Provide authoritative advice to senior leaders on financial policy, risks and trends, including options and recommendations for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Management: Lead the operation and oversight of finance for the SDA homes, ensuring effective management of revenues and expenditures.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue growth and minimize expenditure.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and financial reports to inform business decisions.
