A highly skilled Payroll Professional is sought to administer, prepare and calculate payroll processing activities ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll services.
About the Role- Perform end-to-end payroll processing activities ensuring accurate data input of timesheets leave allowances deductions and other entitlements.
- Monitor and resolve issues within the time and attendance system including adjusting workflows and escalating matters where appropriate.
- Administer payroll on-costs including superannuation and payroll tax while applying a sound understanding of legislative and compliance requirements.
- Ensure payroll processes align with internal policies enterprise agreements relevant legislation and compliance obligations.
- Provide clear and accurate advice to employees and managers on payroll matters such as salaries entitlements and leave accruals.
- You are an experienced payroll professional with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer-focused services.
- You bring proven expertise in payroll administration including use of payroll and time and attendance systems and a strong record of delivering accurate and timely results with minimal supervision.
- You have a solid understanding of payroll on-costs superannuation and payroll tax with demonstrated ability to apply relevant legislation and compliance standards in practice.
- You have a collaborative approach to working in a team with a focus on knowledge sharing peer support and continuous improvement.
- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and provide confidential client-focused service.
- You have advanced computer literacy particularly in data analysis and using payroll systems to extract data maintain accuracy and support decision-making.
- Payroll is delivered accurately and on time every time.
- Maintenance of the timekeeping systems are proactively resolved with clear communication to staff.
- Internal and external compliance requirements are met.
- Stakeholders feel supported informed and confident in payroll processes due to your professional advice and client-focused approach.
- You contribute positively to the team environment openly sharing knowledge supporting others and identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes.
