About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team at Foyer Foundation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing external and internal communications strategies to grow the reach and impact of Youth Foyers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Head of Collaboration and Strategic Communications Partner to inform the development and execution of campaign strategies.
  • Manage day-to-day communication and advocacy strategy execution, ensuring effective project management and team collaboration.
  • Oversee the Foyer Foundation website, e-newsletter, direct communications, and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate the production of the Foyer Foundation Annual Report in collaboration with the CEO and external professionals.
  • Develop and implement engaging and dynamic content for use across all our channels, optimizing content for digital audiences to ensure alignment with and enhancement of the Foundation's brand.
About Us

Foyer Foundation is a national for-purpose organisation that unlocks thriving futures for young people aged 16-24 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We achieve this by growing the reach and impact of Youth Foyers, which provide a safe and stable home for up to 40 young people, integrating housing, education, employment, and life skills supports under one roof.

We are in an exciting phase of growth and momentum, working towards 50 Foyers by 2030. Our network of service providers, big and small, delivers Youth Foyers across Australia, working in communities in regional, remote, and metro locations.

We are a networked organisation with a small core team and strong relationships with many external partners and collaborators, working together to achieve our collective goal.
