About the Role

Our organisation is seeking an experienced dietitian to provide comprehensive community services for aged care Home Care Package clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, establishing health and nutrition goals, and developing customized meal plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' nutritional needs, medical history, lifestyle, and dietary habits.
  • Establish personalized health and nutrition goals in consultation with clients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop tailored meal plans that meet clients' health goals and dietary preferences.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients on healthy eating practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Full APD registration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Additional Requirements

  • Proficiency in a second language, such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Hindi, or Vietnamese.
  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurance of $10M each.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
