Job Title: Nutrition and Dietetics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nutrition and Dietetics Specialist who can make a significant impact in our organization.

This is a part-time, fixed-term position based at St Johns. The successful candidate will work 24 hours a week for six months and have flexible days and hours.

  • Work closely with Medical, Nursing, and other Health Professionals to meet patients' nutritional and dietetic requirements.
  • Liaise with Food Service Staff to ensure nutritionally sound menus.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff and students as required.
  • Assess patients' nutritional status and provide clinical nutrition services.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science/Applied Science plus Post-Graduate Diploma in Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility for membership of a relevant professional association.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary rehabilitation, patient-centred care, and dietetics practice.
  • Ability to function independently or within a multidisciplinary team.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
