Shift Technician Role

As a critical team member, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational integrity of our data center. Your responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a data center operation to ensure seamless system operation.

Oversight of electrical and mechanical systems, including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, generators, chillers, Electrical Distribution, HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and CMMS Work Dispatching is essential for this position.

You will conduct daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance tasks. Ensure that the site's environmental conditions are conducive to a safe and efficient work environment.

Respond promptly to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs as necessary. Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

Execute planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment. Monitor the Building Management System for running and alarm conditions, addressing HVAC-related client issues.

Perform building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities. Address facility and plant faults and defects with effective solutions. Complete assigned work following established processes and procedures, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
