As a skilled Contract Administrator and Document Controller, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business in an exciting and unique opportunity to work in Australia's Defence environment. Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator and Document Controller to join our team for a duration of 6 months, with flexible location options. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on large-scale projects from start to finish, developing their skills and pursuing their passion while being supported in creating a career journey that aligns with their aspirations and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager for the Defence Services Line of Business, reporting to the GM Defence Services.
  • Understanding client contracts of various types for complex projects, identifying key risks, developing mitigations in consultation with subject matter experts, managing policy non-compliances in line with our governance, and leading client-facing contract negotiations.
  • Engaging and collaborating with Senior Legal Counsel and supporting the Defence Fuels Managing Contractor Contract, including contract extensions, changes, and subcontractor departures.
Requirements:
  • A self-motivated individual with strong commercial and contractual acumen, capable of managing the full contract and project lifecycle and balancing competing priorities.
  • Experience with Commonwealth contracts is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Defence industry and environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with Joint Venture agreements and US Government contract terms is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Must be an Australian citizen and either hold or be capable of obtaining a valid Defence Security Clearance.
