Senior Project Cost Management Specialist

This role involves estimating, analysis and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for cost activities that require a high degree of technical skill.
- Prepare cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons.
- Review identified cost trends for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives when appropriate.
- Maintain open communications with other organizations to support cost engineering analysis and control activities.
The primary objective of this position is to ensure work is completed as scheduled, supporting project organizational and administrative activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Cost Engineer will be responsible for the following key areas:
- Directing project cost engineering, including cost control and analysis, cost reporting, incurred cost assessment and conducting meetings.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction management obtained through specialized instruction or practical experience.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
