Senior Cost Controller Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller to manage cost management systems, processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Commerce/ Finance and at least 8 years project control experience. They should be familiar with internationally accredited project controls certification and have experience managing mid to large-scale capital projects.

  • Implement cost management systems and processes.
  • Manage project cost and progress reporting.
  • Oversee key cost functions including budget tracking, forecasting, cashflow and performance analysis.
  • Apply the standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to ensure consistency.
  • Provide oversight on work packages ensuring costs are monitored/ reported in compliance with approved Project Controls Plan.
  • Progress & performance measurement by applying earned value management (EVM) tools and techniques.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Commerce/ Finance.
  • Internationally accredited project controls certification.
  • At least 8 years project control experience.
  • Experience managing mid to large-scale capital projects.
  • Analytical/technical skills with a practical approach to problem solving.
  • Highly effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Omega PIMS cost system.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and MS Office package abilities.

This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership and technical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cost management systems and processes, as well as overseeing key cost functions.
