Job Opportunity:

Seeking Experienced Community Workers for Cairns Region

We are seeking physically fit, active, enthusiastic, and professional individuals with solid experience in the community and/or disability sector to support participants in reaching their individual goals through meaningful and fun activities.

  • Assist daily living tasks such as hygiene, dressing, food preparation, housework, and shopping.
  • Facilitate participation in daily activities and provide education on achieving independence in daily living skills.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record relevant information in client notes and communication books.
  • Participate in service planning processes and monitor outcomes for clients.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Physically fit and able to perform daily living tasks.
  • Experience working in the community and/or disability sector.
  • Ability to facilitate daily activities and provide education on achieving independence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
