Leading Cyber Security Specialist

This is a hybrid role that plays a critical part in driving key cybersecurity initiatives and supporting strategic decision making for an organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop procurement-ready functional and non-functional requirements for essential cybersecurity solutions, ensuring alignment with government standards and industry needs.
- Shape the cyber strategy to address current and emerging risks, ensuring it remains relevant and effective.
- Assist in developing and presenting business cases to justify investment for the cybersecurity program.
- Update and maintain the cyber controls framework to assess and benchmark cybersecurity maturity.
- Produce operational guides for cybersecurity tools to ensure consistent and effective use across the organization.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Cyber Operations or GRC, with a thorough understanding of the security lifecycle.
- Proven analysis and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Security Architecture and industry certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CEH, CCSP, or Azure AZ500.
This role is based in Melbourne CBD. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in driving cybersecurity initiatives and supporting strategic decision making.
