Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will operate proactively to establish strong relationships with stakeholders, triage and investigate cyber incidents, and contribute to investigation playbooks.
About the Role
The Cyber Security team is responsible for leading strategy, architecture and risk approaches for cyber security across the organization. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Triage, investigating and documenting cyber incidents
- Contributing to investigation playbooks and enhancing incident response procedures
- Leading after-action reviews and publishing findings
- Monitoring internal data and external trends to assess threats
- Managing cybersecurity infrastructure and ensuring compliance with technology and cybersecurity standards
- Promoting cross-functional learning through team collaboration
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and best practice
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated flexibility and commitment
- Experience in developing security operations and defense protocols
- Understanding of security technology including SIEM, EDR and Identity Detection
- Experience with SIEM, EDR and other security technologies
- Knowledge and experience in cyber-attack stages
- Skills and experience in protecting networks against malware
- Experience in threat and risk analysis/modelling
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Cyber Security
