Content Creator Position

We are seeking a skilled News Content Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, editing and producing dynamic, engaging news content for our 24-hour multi-channel and multi-platform news service.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. They will also have experience working with newsroom software and equipment, including ENPS and Quantel.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about journalism and has a strong understanding of what makes compelling news stories.
Key Responsibilities:- Write and edit news copy for on-air broadcasts
- Produce vision and packages for assigned stories and breaking news
- Cut overlay, LVOs and grabs using Quantel program
- Build news graphics to support coverage
- Liaise with reporters in the field to coordinate live crosses
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Experience working in a newsroom environment
- Strong understanding of news production and broadcast software
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
