Regional Facilities Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regional Facilities Manager to join our team in Melbourne, AU. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of internal technicians to provide timely and cost-effective facilities support across the region.

This role involves working closely with key stakeholders, landlords, and external contractors to deliver day-to-day maintenance outcomes. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Providing reactive maintenance services through Facilities Technicians and external contractors in line with key performance indicators and service level metrics.">
  • Working with project, property, and leasing functions on changes to portfolio, de-fits, or new club handovers.">
  • Carrying out risk assessments and dealing with any identified risks.">
  • Raising capital requests with supporting information for business decision-making.">

Requirements for Success

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and a natural ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.">
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, as well as comfort working autonomously.">
  • Confidence in managing and coordinating external contractors.">
  • A passion for the fitness industry and willingness to learn.">

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

">

The ideal candidate will have:

">
  • 5+ years of experience in team management.">
  • Maintenance of fitness equipment.">
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of building and/or maintenance experience.">
  • Computer skills and experience using maintenance management systems, MS office suite, and finance approval platforms.">
  • Understanding of building codes and local regulations.">
  • Experience managing multiple trades.">
  • Strong experience and knowledge of safety systems, hazard identification, and OH&S processes.">
