**Your opportunity**
As Regional Manager, VIC you will be part of the Operations and Environment (O&E) team, you will support our Asset Teams in delivering extraordinary experiences every day.
You will be responsible for the facilities management function across VIC, ensuring life safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and innovation; enabling each asset to achieve its full potential.
Your role and responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:
- Align VIC with the O&E and CCD (Customer, Community and Destination) focus areas, effectively driving your region's performance through regular reviews, action plans and supporting FM team capability
- Supporting the delivery of the region's Strategic Asset Plans, Scentre Group's Plan on a Page and all other strategic and asset planning initiatives for your centres
- Communicating and embedding O&E initiatives (e.g. building compliance and safety, environmental including energy and water usage, waste, recycling and key procurement and contractor management priorities)
- Facilitating training and awareness of key operational processes, systems and technology to effectively deliver on strategies and plans across the region as well as supporting portfolio O&E objectives as needed
- Identifying areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works, developing and implementing plans to achieve commercial targets
- Work with peers including CCD regional leaders to oversee centre facilities' budgets and forecasting assumptions in your region
- Manage the implementation of continuous Workplace Health and Safety cultural improvement by championing the culture across the region
- Attract, retain and develop the best talent, ensure regular reviews of succession planning, supporting the delivery of personal development plans and building greater employee engagement
- As an FM, deliver on the FM role for the centre within the region where the role is based
**What will set **you **apart from the rest?**
- Extensive (10+ years) management experience in retail, hospitality or other customer services environment across a regional or national portfolio
- Degree, Diploma or tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Trades, Hospitality, Leisure, Property, Building or Facilities Management
- Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated experience balancing financial needs with technical and customer outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in leading a large, geographically dispersed /remote team, comfortable with managing performance
- Confident people leader with proven success leading teams to achieve full potential
- Excellent communications skills that engage and motivate diverse stakeholder groups to achieve positive business outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and tasks
- Technology-literate and interested in future technologies and innovative solutions
