Job Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Protection Engineering Professional to lead our protection and secondary engineering function. The successful candidate will serve as the key representative for all protection and secondary-related projects, collaborating with our team, community, clients, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough fault analysis to ensure network resilience and stability.
  • Develop effective protection grading strategies to optimize system performance.
  • Oversee functional design integration for complex transmission projects.
  • Provide expertise in transmission network systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure alignment with Grid protection and automation specifications, leading application and implementation efforts.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in protection engineering, secondary design, and automation.
  • Proven expertise in transmission network projects, ideally within an EPC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Grid protection and automation requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to engage with internal and external teams effectively.
