Leadership Opportunity in Aged Care
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and experienced Aged Care professional to take the next step in their leadership journey.
As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, lead clinical governance, and mentor staff to uphold best practice standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration) with minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience
- Proven leadership experience, ideally in aged care or a rural health setting
- A sound understanding of aged care standards and person-centred care principles
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- A passion for rural health and making a difference in a local community
Responsibilities include leading and managing nursing and care staff across a 20-bed inpatient unit, maintaining compliance with clinical standards, policies, and aged care regulations, promoting a positive, respectful, and safe environment for residents and staff, driving continuous improvement and innovation in clinical care, and coordinating rostering, staff development, and performance management.
