About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Leader to oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements are met, provide timely updates on project progress, and manage expectations.
  • Supervise construction workers and hire subcontractors as needed, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Procure materials for each phase of the project, maintain accurate records, and control costs effectively.
  • Monitor build costs and project progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes where necessary.
  • Conduct quality and safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations, enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols, and address any concerns promptly.
  • Prepare site reports, designs, and drawings, maintaining clear and concise documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain quality control checks to ensure high-quality workmanship, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Motivate the workforce to meet project deadlines, foster a positive team culture, and encourage open communication.
  • Address day-to-day problems and resolve issues in a timely manner, escalating concerns to management if required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Construction Site Leader or equivalent role.
  • Australian working rights, ability to travel to project sites as required.
