Tax Accountant Position

This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced tax accountants to work with a diverse portfolio, including large multinational clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review the work of junior accountants and provide expert tax advice to clients.
  • Perform Division 7A, capital gains tax, and grouping provisions in relation to payroll tax.
  • Conduct research and submit private rulings for clients, including objections.
  • Work closely with large and medium-sized clients, including companies, trusts, overseas trusts, and groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in accounting from an Australian institution.
  • Completed or working towards a chartered accountant/qualified public accountant qualification.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in using Xero and BGL software.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and taxation fundamentals.
