Payroll System Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the implementation of our new payroll system. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, stakeholder engagement, and training delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing future process maps and training materials for the payroll system implementation project. This is a 6-month role that involves working closely with the business to understand and document current payroll processes, creating and mapping new business processes related to the payroll system, gaining an in-depth understanding of the new payroll platform, and producing detailed training materials.

This role also involves delivering engaging training sessions to employees on new payroll processes and system functionalities, eliciting, documenting, and refining business requirements, providing clear and structured business process documentation using Visio or similar tools, and being adaptable and sensitive to change, helping to guide the business through this transition in coordination with key stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in payroll system implementation
  • Strong ability to map business processes and document requirements
  • Proficient in process mapping tools such as Visio or similar
  • Natural trainer and confident presenter, able to educate users at all levels
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to capture and document unstructured business knowledge
  • Adaptable, empathetic, and skilled at managing change in a business transformation setting
