We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, architects, and developers to define business processes and requirements for large-scale transformative programs.

You will be responsible for eliciting, documenting, and maintaining traceable business and regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with IT strategy and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define future-state business processes and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, Solution Architects, Product Owners, Service Designers, and Customer Journey Experts.
  • Elicit, document, and maintain traceable business and regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with IT strategy and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical SMEs to ensure proposed IT solutions meet business needs.
  • Develop user stories, support development teams during implementation, and provide guidance during integration and UAT testing.
  • Design efficient, low-touch business processes that incorporate risk and regulatory requirements by design.
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of the Australian Payments landscape (Direct Entry, BPAY, NPP, SWIFT) and hands-on experience in large-scale banking transformation programs.
  • Skilled in capturing, refining, and managing business requirements, designing efficient processes, and aligning them with strategic goals in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to work in Agile and hybrid delivery models, collaborating effectively with stakeholders including Product Owners, Architects, and Customer Journey Experts.
  • Experienced in reviewing technical solutions for business fit, managing risks and issues proactively, and ensuring traceability and prioritization of requirements.
