Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a data analysis engineer in a dynamic team, contributing to the research and development of structural health condition monitoring solutions for the railway industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design complex and bespoke solutions to address engineering challenges in structural health monitoring systems.
  • Apply industry design standards and practices across hardware and software development.
  • Work with various sensors including accelerometers, acoustic sensors, and imaging systems.
  • Support state-of-the-art condition monitoring systems ensuring continuous operation and accurate reporting to industry partners.
  • Contribute to the development of new reporting tools and collaborate with partner groups and engineers.
  • Engage directly with industry partners requiring professionalism maturity and strong organisational skills.
Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about engineering innovation and data-driven problem solving with a strong foundation in engineering principles keen eye for detail and ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

About the Role

This is a 12 month fixed-term appointment offering a competitive remuneration package. Monash supports flexible working arrangements and has a global presence with around 20,000 staff and 95,000 students across multiple campuses and international centres.
