Job Title: Data Analysis Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented data analysis expert to craft and optimise solutions for our enterprise customers. This role will involve working with global data from our suite of leading fraud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing machine learning or rule-based models following best practice, to banking model governance standards
  • Defining features that capture evolving fraudster behaviors using strong knowledge of SQL and Python plus quantitative skills
  • Streamlining the model training pipeline and analytics workflows by developing internal tools
  • Transforming uncertainty into value-add opportunities through curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Delivering industry-leading presentations for external and executive audiences using strong attention to detail and ability to craft a story through data
  • Building extensive knowledge of cybercrime – account takeover, scams, social engineering, Card Not Present (CNP) fraud, money laundering and mule fraud, etc
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities by employing multi-tasking and prioritization skills

Requirements:

  • Experience in a data science role, ideally within the fraud, risk, or banking/payments domain
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL (BI tools such as Super Set, Tableau or Power BI is a bonus)
  • Hands-on experience in machine learning model development, evaluation, and production deployment, with familiarity in ML Ops principles to build scalable and standardized workflows and implement effective ML monitoring systems
  • Proven ability to create polished presentations and effectively communicate insights to customers with attention to detail
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills are essential to excel in fast paced environments
  • Demonstrate fluency in English. Any other languages spoken across APAC are a bonus, particularly Japanese
