Project Leader for Abrasive Blasting and Protective Coatings

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Leader to lead our team of professionals in delivering high-quality abrasive blasting and protective coating services across various projects. This role offers stability with over 12 months remaining on the project.

About the Role
  • Lead blast and paint teams, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Liaise closely with the Programme Manager to ensure projects run smoothly and meet program requirements.
  • Complete Quality Assurance/Quality Control inspections to applicable Australian and International standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections after abrasive blasting and before coating.
  • Carry out surface profile tests.
  • Create coatings inspection reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
  • Develop and implement project quality management systems.
  • Coach and mentor team members to deliver Abrasive Blast and Protective Coatings to client specifications.
About You
  • Experience in the construction and/or mining industry with blasting and painting.
  • A team player, proactive, and reliable with high safety standards.
  • Possess a Police Check or be able to obtain one.
  • Hold an S26 or equivalent qualification.
