Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and support a team of psychologists and behaviour support practitioners, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high standards of care.
  2. Build a foundation of referrals for our relevant services, leveraging professional networks and partnerships to drive growth.
  3. Assist with and complete relevant marketing strategies, promoting our services and expertise to potential clients and stakeholders.
  4. Develop, build, and manage governance systems to ensure the smooth running of the organisation, adhering to all legislation, standards, and the NDIS Code of Conduct.
  5. Provide psychology/positive behaviour support services to NDIS participants in their homes, schools, and/or other community settings, delivering tailored interventions and promoting positive outcomes.
  6. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop PBS plans, and deliver interventions that promote positive outcomes, working autonomously and managing your own caseload.
  7. Build and implement efficient systems and processes to streamline service delivery, intake procedures, and administrative tasks, ensuring seamless operations.
  8. Complete intake assessments and handle related administrative work alongside your clinical duties, providing exceptional client care.
  9. Lead and support a growing team of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners, guiding their professional development and ensuring high standards of care.
  10. Drive the development of our PBS services, helping to shape policies, procedures, and best practices, and gradually transition into a managerial role, overseeing team performance, reporting, and service delivery.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience working within the NDIS framework as a Psychologist, with a focus on positive behaviour support.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse caseload, with strong leadership skills and the ambition to take on a managerial role.
  3. Experience building systems and processes to support both clinical and administrative work, with a commitment to best practices in Positive Behaviour Support.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  5. A commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their goals, with a passion for making a significant impact.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's and Post-Graduate Degree in Psychology.
  2. General or Specialist registration with AHPRA.
  3. PBS qualifications or relevant training.
  4. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
  5. Driver's license and willingness to travel across Sydney as required.
