Role of Provisional Psychologist in NDIS Space

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Provisional Psychologist to join our supportive, respectful, and professional workplace within the NDIS space.

As a Provisional Psychologist, you will work within a passionate multi-disciplinary team located in Greater Western Sydney area, which includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Exercise Physiologists.

The Provisional Psychologist's primary role is to support NDIS participants in line with AHPRA and NDIS regulations and client goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic, evidence-based, and client-centred interventions in a professional, confidential, and culturally safe manner.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.
  • Support and manage your caseload.
  • Support Participants and other stakeholders to develop and review support plans.
  • Collaborate with other Health Professionals and key stakeholders regarding client care.
  • Complete case notes, reports, and other correspondence in line with required standards, relevant legislative requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist.
  • A high standard for professional ethics.
  • Working with Children's Check and Police check.
  • Drivers License (minimum Provisional) and access to own car.
