Business Analyst, ANZ Plus

The ANZ Banking Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join its Home Ecosystem Value Stream under Innovation, Partnerships and Design. This team is responsible for building products, services, and experiences that will help customers navigate the challenging process of buying a home.
The ideal candidate will have experience in business or process analysis, with a focus on mobile apps or web environments. They will work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Business Services, Risk, and Compliance to understand customer features, process flows, risks, and controls.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for refining concepts, exploring new ideas, participating in key operational processes, and helping to roll out new and updated features. They will also define reporting and provide insights on how new features are performing.
The successful candidate will have a commercial mindset, with the ability to map processes and system dependencies and think broader than just the value stream. They will also have experience in change or implementation for driving successful project outcomes and seamless activations.

Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Business Services, Risk, and Compliance to understand customer features, process flows, risks, and controls.
- Refine concepts and explore new ideas.
- Participate in key operational processes to ensure features remain compliant with obligations.
- Help roll out new and updated features to ensure they are easily and seamlessly adopted.
- Define reporting and provide insights on how new features are performing.
- Business or process analysis experience from a mobile apps or web environment.
- Experience supporting large-scale complex, transformational work that involves a number of cross-functional squads.
- Understanding of banking and digital payments functionality and obligations.
- Experience in change or implementation for driving successful project outcomes and seamless activations.
- Commercial mindset to map processes and system dependencies and think broader than just the value stream.
- Ability to respectfully challenge the status quo and keep the customer at the centre of data-driven decision making.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
