Piping Designer Opportunity

Are you an experienced piping designer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and work on various projects.

This role involves creating 3D models and 2D deliverables under the guidance of supervisory designers and engineers. You will also be responsible for performing clash detection, annotating 2D drawings, and designing pipe supports with input from stress engineers.

Our ideal candidate has advanced engineering qualifications, at least three years of experience in piping design, and a good understanding of company health, safety, environmental, and community standards.

We are looking for someone who is proficient in using CAD systems, has experience with isometric production control, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Key responsibilities:
  • Create 3D models and 2D deliverables as per project requirements and company standards.
  • Perform clash detection and annotation of 2D drawings extracted from 3D models.
  • Design special pipe supports with input from stress engineers.
  • Participate in formal design review processes.
  • Prepare stress sketches and extract ISOs.

Requirements:

  • Advanced diploma in engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years of experience in piping design or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of company health, safety, environmental, and community standards.
  • Proficient in using CAD systems.
  • Experience with isometric production control and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
