We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our team, where you'll play a key role in helping us achieve our mission of accelerating carbon abatement for Australia.

About the role:

  • As an APS Level 6 Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for producing and preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and guidelines.
  • You'll work closely with our Finance Reporting Team to ensure compliance with financial delegations and accountabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Tasks

  • Preparing and entering monthly and annual statements into our Central Budget Management System.
  • Coordinating and managing monthly tasks, including preparation and entry of journals and other financial documents.

We're seeking someone with diverse skills, expertise, and experience who is passionate about reducing carbon emissions and promoting clean energy in Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and guidelines, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
