Director Opportunity

The position of Director is a critical role within our early childhood education and care services, requiring an individual with exceptional leadership and management skills.

This is a key opportunity for someone to lead a team of educators and support staff in providing high-quality early childhood education and care services to children.

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional who can provide strategic direction and guidance to the centre, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.

About the Role
  • Lead and manage a team of educators and support staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care services.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and strategies for the centre, in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure the centre meets all regulatory requirements, including those related to child protection and safety.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure efficient use of funds and allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the centre, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
  • Manage budgets and resources to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Foster effective relationships with stakeholders, including parents, staff, and community groups.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, incorporating these into the centre's operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated understanding of national regulations and quality standards for education and care services.
  • Leadership and management experience in a child care setting, with ability to manage performance and provide effective supervision.
  • Current first aid certificate and asthma and anaphylaxis management training or willingness to obtain.
