Job Title: Groundsperson/Garden Labourer

We are seeking a casual professional to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance in a hands-on role.

About the Position:

This is a physically demanding position that requires stamina and a passion for working with plants. You will have the opportunity to work at prestigious sites, including private schools, retirement villages, commercial properties, and sporting venues.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively under guidance from experienced colleagues.
  • Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from vehicles and trailers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • You possess a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks to high standards.
  • Physically fit with ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or related field is highly regarded.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and sun.
  • Valid driver's license is desirable and willingness to obtain a white card and Working With Children check is expected.
  • Above all, you are mature and able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
