Lead Garden Maintenance Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our garden maintenance team in Western Sydney. As a natural leader with a green thumb and an eye for detail, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, mentoring staff, and implementing garden maintenance strategies.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to manage a team of garden maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning and fertilising.
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training to enhance team members' horticultural skills and knowledge.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, or 5 years of proven hands-on experience in garden maintenance.
  • Valid driver's licence and Working with Children Check.
