Role Overview

The Senior Psychologist provides expert clinical psychological services on a unit at Ballerrt Yeram-boo-ee with mentally disordered patients/prisoners as a member of the multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced psychological advice on complex patient/prisoner issues to clinicians.
  • Contribute to risk management plans with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer individual and/or group interventions as appropriate.
About You:

We are seeking a Psychologist who has:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
  • Endorsement or eligibility for endorsement by AHPRA in clinical and/or forensic psychology.
