Be Part of a Multidisciplinary Team Delivering Forensic Intervention in Victoria
Forensic Intervention Services (FIS) is seeking experienced clinicians to join our team and contribute to reducing reoffending and making the community safer.
The role involves working on complex cases with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending, using evidence-based assessment tools to develop treatment plans and interventions. As a clinician, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment.
Working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model, your key responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive assessments including risk assessments
- Clinical interviews to determine appropriate treatment pathways
- Treatment interventions employing evidence-based assessment tools
- Treatment programs involving individual and group sessions
- Preparing treatment plans, treatment reports, and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders
Key skills and qualifications required for this role include:
- Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Current driver's license
