About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Brookdale as a Maintenance Manager. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including the general operating maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds.

You will oversee a team of maintenance staff, directing workers engaged in the maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the community, inspecting completed work for conformance to standards and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise the maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the community.
  • Oversee scheduled maintenance on H.V.A.C., elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
  • Maintain positive communication with local fire Marshall, building inspector, state elevator inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the community.
Qualifications

A high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and two to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. A valid State Driver's License is also necessary for vehicle travel.
