The Team Leader will play a vital role in delivering high-quality allied health care to our community age care customers in Hervey Bay. This position requires effective leadership of a multi-disciplinary team of allied health professionals who work across various locations, including Hervey Bay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, and Gladstone.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Provide daily guidance, management, and support to a team of allied health professionals.
  2. Clinical Supervision: Offer expert advice, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  3. Allied Health Service Delivery: Participate in customer care and allied health service delivery in your specific discipline for funding areas, including Home Care Packages, Commonwealth Home Support Program, and Short-Term Restorative Care.
  4. Team Meetings and Case Discussions: Lead and contribute to team meetings, and multidisciplinary case discussions.
  5. Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely allied health updates are provided.
  6. Clinical Excellence: Foster a culture of clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, quality, effectiveness, and high standards of allied health services for Suncare customers.
  7. Operational Quality Assurance: Contribute to operational quality assurance and improvement practices.
  8. Expert Knowledge: Utilise your expertise to provide consultation and collaboration across operational departments to support teamwork and engagement between teams.
  9. Workplace Culture: Foster a respectful and responsive workplace culture aligned with Suncare's values, with emphasis on quality, continuous improvement, employee retention, and high performance.
