Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Professional to join our multidisciplinary team. As a values-based organisation, we strive to deliver exceptional care services to our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our Allied Health team to provide support in delivering therapeutic individual or group programs. This may include preparing for group programs, supervising customers, and providing general assistance to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic individual or group programs under direction or supervision.
  • Assist in the preparation for group programs and supervision of customers.
  • Provide general support to the Allied Health team, including compilation of clinical and program materials and collection and maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of assessment, treatment, and clinical processes for customers.
Requirements
  • A Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
  • Experience in safely delivering massage therapy services, preferably to frail/aged customers, and supported by a massage therapy qualification.
  • The ability to work in a variety of community settings, including with culturally diverse families.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening skills, the ability to establish rapport and maintain positive professional relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, being task-oriented, non-judgmental, and having a clear sense of professional boundaries.
