Urban Infrastructure Designer Opportunity

Stantec is seeking an experienced Urban Infrastructure Designer to join our team in Western Australia. Reporting to the Civil Team Lead, you will work on projects delivering solutions in urban, land and subdivision projects within Busselton and surrounds.

The role will suit a highly skilled Designer who has worked on multi-disciplined civil projects for Councils, Local government, Main Roads, or developers. You will be responsible for preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure).

Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare designs for urban infrastructure projects
  • Interpret design requirements of State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients
  • Interface with associated disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping
  • Interact with clients regarding project needs
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate senior civil designer experience in urban, land and subdivisions
  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering
  • Demonstrated experience ideally using 12D software
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
