The role of a Nursing Professional is to provide high-quality care to residents in a residential aged care setting.
About the Role:
- Deliver direct clinical nursing care to residents following best practice nursing procedures
- Serve as a team leader, providing coaching and guidance to support staff
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all policies and procedures
Key Requirements:
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly
- Current registration with AHPRA following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
- In-depth understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of age-related health issues
- Effective coaching and training skills
- Excellent conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to apply for a police check and NDIS clearance
