Strategic HR Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and develop our HR team, supporting our retail business through exceptional leadership.

This role reports to the General Manager HR and is responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of HR Business Partners and Advisors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing consistent, sound, and pragmatic advice and support to leaders throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Ensuring effective investigations and issue resolution in accordance with legal frameworks, assessing risk and managing escalations as required.
  • Embedding and utilising consistent reporting frameworks to monitor and manage key HR performance metrics.
  • Building, maintaining, and encouraging collaborative working relationships that support the achievement of our company purpose.
  • Delivering targeted capability training for people leaders, focusing on strengthening leadership skills and supporting ongoing development.
  • Supporting talent and succession management to enable growth and development of future leaders.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in generalist HR business partnering roles, including varying levels of leadership.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing employee relations matters.
  • Knowledge of employment frameworks, such as the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and Workplace Health & Safety legislation in Australia.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior leadership.
