Medical Specialist in Obstetrics and Women's Health

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Consultant to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network in South Australia.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical services in all-risk obstetric models, contributing to outpatient antenatal services and elective caesarean section birthing services.
- They will supervise activity, teach as a supervising consultant for elective gynaecology operating, and participate in regular perinatal morbidity and mortality review processes.
- This role also involves coordinating ongoing education within the division, focusing on safety and quality.
About You
- You will have a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
- A relevant specialist qualification and registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration are required.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (FRANZCOG) is preferred, with experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- You should have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with individuals and families for positive health outcomes.
