About this Opportunity

Our client is seeking a seasoned data scientist to drive strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will provide expert advice on best practices for data collection, integrity, interpretation, and representation.

  • Maintain and develop robust data systems to support client objectives:
  • Scope and build relevant data models with PowerBI developers
  • Develop and extend scripts/tools for ETL, data wrangling, cleaning, and syncing using Python and other tools
  • Perform data analysis and visualization
  • Expand or maintain AI tools for policy analysis, including:
  • Summarizing and analyzing open-source and official material using Python, OpenAI, and Azure
  • Expanding the tool for new use cases upon stakeholder engagement

Candidates must be Australian citizens and hold security clearance.

Key Requirements

  • Expertise in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or D3.js
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
  • Security clearance and Australian citizenship
