Association Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to coordinate administrative, governance, membership, advocacy, and business development activities.

The role reports to the Committee of Management and oversees all aspects of programs responsible for achieving specified objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the local shopping and business precinct.
  • Review and finalise the Central Coburg Business Plan.
  • Plan and develop an Annual Marketing Plan and Annual Budget that align with the CCBA – Strategic Plan 2023-2027.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on spending, ensuring effective programs benefit the greater precinct and deliverables and KPIs are achieved.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of activities and advise the Committee on opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with Council, traders, and community groups where necessary.
  • Develop local contacts and encourage participation by various individuals and groups as possible.
  • Provide advice, referrals, and support to tenants or property owners to improve properties and businesses.
  • Administer the operation of the office, maintaining accuracy of accounts and timely preparation of documentation for efficient running of meetings.
  • Oversee completion of annual vacancy audits and biannual trader surveys, required under Funding Agreement.
  • Participate in relevant subcommittees and Council Committees.
  • Support transparency of Special Charge Scheme, implementing activities and reporting requirements included in Funding Agreement, ensuring planning requirements and timelines are met.
  • Assist in preparation and conduct of Annual General Meeting and reporting of activities.
  • Generate additional funds through sponsorships and securing grants.
