Senior Contract Manager

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Senior Contract Manager to join our team at Ashdown People. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing strategic procurement contracts, developing supplier relationships, and ensuring optimal business outcomes.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance contract management and supplier relationships.
  • Create and execute Contract Management Plans, including KPIs, risk management, and performance monitoring.
  • Advise stakeholders on contract clauses and supplier performance strategies to improve future outcomes.
  • Maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships to mitigate risks and maximize contract value.
  • Lead negotiations for contract variations, renewals, and disputes to achieve better procurement outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and effective contract management to ensure high-quality services.
  • Manage contract performance in line with the NSW Government Contract Management Framework.
About You
  • Previous NSW Government experience.
  • Extensive procurement experience in a fast-paced environment, with knowledge of contract development and supplier management.
  • Familiarity with contemporary procurement and contract management policies, ensuring best practices in a public sector context.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to coach and influence for effective procurement outcomes.
