Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for non-VR General Practitioners to receive fully funded training to complete their Fellowship with RVTS. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

You will be supported through weekly webinars, face-to-face workshops, online resources, on-site clinical teaching, remote supervision, and exam preparation. This comprehensive approach ensures that participants are well-equipped to tackle the challenges of their roles.

About the Practice

This RACGP and ACRRM accredited training practice has been operating in Ingham, North Queensland for 30 years. It offers a range of services including audiometry, spirometry, skin checks, ECGs, health checks, and medicals.

The practice has visiting allied health services, including podiatrists, audiologists, dental prosthetists, diabetes educators, psychologists, dieticians, exercise physiologists, and visiting Orthopaedic Surgeons. Registered and enrolled nurses provide continuous medical officer support.

This position includes a diverse range of medical conditions that present to a rural General Practice, including antenatal care, chronic disease management, paediatric conditions, employment medicals, mental health, women's health checks, adult and childhood immunisations, men's health checks, travel medicine advice, and preventative medicine.
