General Practitioner Position in Rural Queensland

This is a unique opportunity for non-VR General Practitioners to complete their Fellowship through a fully funded vocational training program.

  • Rural Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS) provides personalized supervision and comprehensive support.
  • The program has a high 80% achievement rate, ensuring eligible candidates can achieve their goal of becoming a specialist.

The position involves working at a RACGP and ACRRM accredited training practice located in Ingham, North Queensland. The practice offers a range of services, including audiometry, spirometry, skin checks, ECGs, and health checks.

The role includes a diverse range of medical conditions, including antenatal care, chronic disease management, pediatric conditions, employment medicals, mental health, women's health checks, adult and childhood immunizations, men's health checks, travel medicine advice, and preventative medicine.

Qualifications and experience required include General AHPRA registration or limited/provisional AHPRA registration with Level 2 supervision minimum.
