Business Accountant Opportunity at Elle Belle Recruitment

Elle Belle Recruitment is proud to present a unique opportunity for an experienced Business Accountant to join our client, a specialist commercial construction company, in their newly created role. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Accounts and contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire AP/AR process, ensuring seamless financial operations
  • Respond to all accounts-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information
  • Process staff expenses, maintaining a transparent and efficient accounting system
  • Conduct thorough bank and account reconciliations, guaranteeing accuracy and consistency
  • Manage payroll, including PAYG, FBT, and STP, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Create comprehensive monthly reports, including cash flow, aged debtor, and P&L statements
  • Prepare and submit BAS and IAS, adhering to tax laws and regulations
  • Manage business insurances and renewals, ensuring optimal coverage and protection

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise and knowledge
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, reflecting a strong foundation in accounting principles
  • A strong desire and willingness to learn and develop professionally, embracing ongoing challenges and opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong teamwork and exceptional initiative and problem-solving skills, driving results-oriented solutions
