Job Title

A Civil Engineer Cadet position is available for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who has a strong passion for civil engineering.

This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the planning, development, and delivery of designs for council's supported projects in the capital works program.

  • Develop knowledge of design, drafting, and survey technical systems.
  • Assist in achieving corporate goals of the organization for the local community.
  • Prepare 'As Constructed' documentation for various projects.
  • Work with Senior Designers and Engineers to identify project constraints and risks.

The ideal candidate will have proficient computer skills in typing, data entry, and preparing Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. They will also have sound written and oral communication skills with a developing knowledge of preparing standard business correspondence, reports, and documents.
